Trendy new homeware, toy and stationery store Miniso to open in Derbion centre

A global lifestyle brand stocking a massive range of items, including £2 Christmas lights, is set to make a new home at a Derby city centre location in the coming weeks.

The massive range of pocket-friendly products from Miniso is reminiscent of the eclectic range stocked and price points famed by Wilko’s.

Miniso, pronounced ‘min-ee-sow’ says it will offer shoppers great value products spanning toys, homeware, accessories, technology, stationery, snacks, health and beauty, and more.

The retailer has stores in more than 100 countries worldwide and its new Derbion space on Level 1 near Frasers marks Miniso’s 24^th opening in the UK.

When will Miniso open in Derby?

Work to transform the store has already begun, with doors set to officially open on Friday, November 17 at 12pm.

To mark the opening, several activities are planned to take place.

These include a meet and greet with Miniso’s mascot PenPen, a high-energy drumming performance, and gifts worth over £25 with purchases for the first 150 customers (terms and conditions apply).

Other new openings at Derbion in 2023

There has been a string of recent openings at Derbion, including Yankee Candle, TUI, Villa Express, and Asian street food brand, Chi.

Luxury beauty name Rituals is also set to open at the shopping destination over the coming weeks.
