Little monsters are invited to enjoy Halloween at half-term where they will no doubt be thrilled with the return of the Trick or Treat event.

On Monday October 30 and Tuesday October 31, between 10am – 4pm, the centre’s Trick or Treat event will return.

Little shoppers will pick up a Halloween-themed bag from the spooky team on Level 1 outside Boots.

They will collect sweet treats from any stores displaying a matching bag in the window.

Over 10 stores are set to take part in the trail, with devilish delights available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Plus, to ensure little monsters look the part for the Trick or Treat event, Derbion will also host a free fiendish face painting station where young ones can get a terrifying transformation.

Small shoppers can also head to meet the centre’s very own balloon artist who will be creating spine-chilling balloon creations just for little monsters this half term.

Terrifying tunes will come courtesy of Count Drac’s DJ Trike so a really good time is in store for music fans too.

Alongside Derbion’s Halloween activity, the centre’s charity of the year, Children First Derby, will be hosting fun activities.

These include pumpkin crafts and temporary tattoos.

All of the centre and charity’s activities are free for everyone to enjoy, however, donations towards Children First Derby are welcome.

The shopping centre also has a leisure offering.

This includes Hollywood Bowl’s fang-tastic Halloween package featuring two games of bowling, one drink and nachos which starts from £10.

There is also Paradise Island Adventure Golf covering 14,000 sq/ft of hidden tropics where families can unleash their competitive spirit and enjoy a day out with a difference.

Derbion is also home to a wide selection of restaurants and eateries, including TGI Fridays, Wagamama, Nando’s and Pizza Express, so there’s something for everybody to enjoy.

Beth McDonald, managing director of Derbion, said: “We’re looking forward to putting smiles on the faces of hundreds of little monsters this half-term.

“Frighteningly-fun, free Halloween activities lie in store, and the return of our Trick or Treat event all promises to be ghoulishly good fun!”
