The foxes join three polar bears at the popular reserve in central England.

Unlike on Noah’s Ark where the animals came in two by two, Peak Wildlife Park is ramping up the cute factor as it welcomes three Arctic foxes into the fold.

The new arrivals have been getting settled into their new home at 53 Degrees North Polar Habitat - just 45 minutes away from Derby.

Named Dena, Storm and Rosie, these Arctic foxes, which are renowned for their resilience in challenging icy conditions in the far north, have been transported from Scotland’s Highland Wildlife Park.

It is hoped the new additions will give visitors the chance to learn more about the foxes’ behaviour as they can observe them from close quarters.

The nature reserve is also home to three polar bears named Noori, Hope and Nanook, who are also another big attraction in the park.

These three polar bears are summer arrivals who made Peak Wildlife Park their home earlier this year.

They are said to also have settled in well into their home.

Speaking about the Arctic foxes’ additions, James Butler, director of the park in the Staffordshire Moorlands, said: “We are excited to welcome Storm, Rosie, and Dena to our park.

“Their presence enhances our commitment to wildlife conservation and environmental education.

“We hope that these unique animals will captivate our visitors and help raise awareness about the challenges faced by Arctic ecosystems.”

Here is one of the foxes that have been described as ‘amazing’ by fans of the park.

Although Peak Wildlife Park’s focus is to promote conservation of wildlife and educate visitors about the natural world, it is also a popular tourist attraction in the Midlands with a high star rating (4.6 out of 5) over 4,100 Google reviews.

James is especially proud of the diverse appeal of the park.

He said: “Visitors of all ages are encouraged to visit Peak Wildlife Park to enjoy these amazing foxes and learn more about the importance of protecting the planet.”
