It’s the perfect day out with the kids near Derby!

Dinosaurs are pretty cool. Even as an adult, I still find myself obsessed with these ferocious prehistoric beasts.

So it’s no wonder, kids love them too. Big teeth, massive feet, tails, and scales - what’s not to love?

Did you know there’s a farm just 30 minutes from Derby that is overrun with these ancient lizards?

Manor Farm Park and Woodlands is the perfect place for a day out with your dino-mad kids.

It is host to The World of Dinosaur Roar! A collaborative project between Manor Farm and The Natural History Museum in London aiming to teach children all about dinosaurs.

As well as plenty of informative and educational workshops, visitors can take part in the dino-discovery trail.

During the trail at Manor Farm, you will meet several life-size characters from the Roar Dinosaur books including a T-Rex, Triceratops, and (my favourite) a Diplodocus.

Manor Farm is one of three Roar Dinosaur parks across the UK, with two others in Dorset and Surrey.

In addition to the dinosaur discovery trail, there are many other things to do at Manor Farm including falconry displays and woodland walks.

Find out more about what to expect from the trail on the website here.
