Organisers of the events running across the country will host the Derby leg at Museum of Making on Sunday March 24, 2024.

Craft + Flea are offering a ‘spin on the makers market.’

They have curated stalls packed with artisan products, created by talented, independent makers, designers, producers and collectors.

Organisers say they have handpicked the stalls for ‘quality, on-trend items.’

The website says: ‘We don't define ourselves as a craft market or a flea market but a great mixture of local talent and finds.’

Looking at items sold last year, we can get a flavour of what to expect in the 2024 event.

Products that were a hit in the previous year include crochet fashion scarves, rainbow coloured glassware, upcycled vintage telephones, towering art deco lamps, succulents, desktop plant pot jugs and intricate artwork.

The event is more than just a good excuse to go shopping - it can also be a fabulous space to seek inspiration.

Caz Leichssenring who attended the Derby event in May 2023 wrote on Facebook: ‘Just got back from there. Really lovely craft fair. My daughter got some great ideas for her wedding, she's gone right back to tell her partner!’

It is a ticketed event. Adults pay £2.50 and under 12s can attend free of charge.

Tickets can be purchased online or on the day, by paying on the door.

Address: Museum Of Making, Silk Mill Lane, Derby DE1 3AF
