The band chose filming locations in the city for a fun twist.

Will said: “For the music video we wanted a 'low quality' home recording vibe, similar to the music video of Head In The Ceiling Fan – Title Fight.

“Since Derby is where we are mainly based, we thought it would be a good idea to video us having fun in the areas of the city centre.”

Reflecting on the music production of Whiskey, Will said: “It was incredible working with Jay Dean from Dubrek.

“We loved the direction he took for recording our single, it made the final version sound amazing.

“We enjoyed the whole process and are already looking forward to the next one!”

Skeeve were formed around nine months’ ago by band members who met at college.

The unusual name is inspired by the video game Skyrim, played by Santino.

Will said: “There are big rats in the game called Skeevers, he shortened it and we thought it was a cool word.”

Coolness aside, the song has a deeper meaning - the title song Whiskey is about a relationship that Will says “ended quite badly.”

The band pride authenticity and unique tone of voice.
