Muggles are in for a treat with this Victorian-themed market.

There is something so festive about Harry Potter - have you noticed it is always on the telly at Christmas?

James McKay, the man who supplied owls for the Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone film, will be at this Christmas market with his cute feathered friends.

There will be a fireworks display, a family fun fair, Santa’s Grotto and a whopping 200 stalls which means you will have a fabulous time picking festive treats.

The West Mill Christmas Market

This popular creative space that also doubles up as an art gallery and café is an ideal venue to host a Christmas market.

The theme this year is Winter Wonderland and people can get into the festive spirit by discovering unique gifts from talented artists to make this holiday season extra special.

This cosy restaurant will be hosting its annual festive market in The Folly and The Library.

Sadler Gate Christmas Market

Derby Ethical Christmas Market

This is one of the earliest markets this year and with over 60 traders gearing up this weekend, it is sure to be a busy event.

You can expect to enjoy retail therapy and enjoy creative workshops including a glazed ceramic workshop and aroma workshop.

Denby Pottery Village Christmas Market

This market spanning seven days is one of the longest on our list, which kicks off on the first weekend in December.

There will be over 30 stall holders selling artisan gifts and handcrafted items that would make brilliant stocking fillers.

Organisers say this is a ‘quintessential English’ Christmas market that will host over 100 stalls and gazebos.

Traders from Bakewell’s popular Monday market and Peak District markets will be in attendance so you can have a wide selection of stalls to pick festive treats from.

This market which organisers say exudes ‘atmospheric charm’ is filled with traders selling quaint gifts and artisanal food.

Christmas markets will be held on various dates in November and December and you can book half-day tickets for either a morning or afternoon session.

Chatsworth Christmas Market

Enjoy mulled wine or German beer as you take a leisurely stroll through these Christmas markets boasting over 100 market stalls.

There will be a wide range of Christmas gifts to buy, decorations to give your home a festive makeover and live music.

This unique Christmas market with a twist is at the Stepping Stones pub.

Not that you needed an excuse to enjoy a nice cool pint at the weekend, but the location makes it a nice treat after a busy morning of browsing stalls packed with festive items.

A bonus is that Santa will also be onsite, so make sure you’re behaving and you may even wind up on his Good List.
