If you’ve ever wondered if that old teapot from your Aunty Maureen was worth something, now is the time to find out.

BBC Antiques Roadshow is rolling into town and they are inviting people to bring along their items to get valued.

The hit BBC show based on experts appraising antiques brought in by local people will be filming at Cromford Mills, Derbyshire for the day. 

On the day of Roadshow recordings, specialists will be on hand to offer free advice and valuations to people who have raided their attics.

If you have ever been curious about how much family heirlooms, household treasures or even car boot bargains are worth, bring them along for inspection.

On Tuesday May 28, 2024, the show will set up camp at the historic Cromford Mills in Cromford, Derbyshire

It is a ticketed event so if you want to attend, you will have to apply online.

The Antiques Roadshow team would like people to submit photographs of their special items, which you can do by clicking here. The team is only able to review submissions sent through this link and are unable to review submissions sent by email or post.

The team will then review submissions and may make contact before the Roadshow event to discuss the items you would like to bring.

Don’t worry if you’re unable to send photos prior to attending the Roadshow.

The team will still consider looking at items brought along on the day. 

If you don’t have any antiques but are a fan of the show and wouldn’t mind a spot of filming on a warm spring day, then you can still apply to be on the show.

BBC website says: ‘There will be plenty to see on the day, and we encourage you to make a day of it, seeing some of our filming in progress, and soak up the Roadshow atmosphere.’

You can buy refreshments on the day, and if you get hungry, you can take along your own food and drink too.

Entry times are 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
