Too Good To Go can be a way to save money, you just have to keep an eye on the app for your favourite store to pop up and offer a Magic Bag loaded with treats

Biscuits, much like Tom Jones, make the world a better place.

I am a huge biscuit fan, perhaps this should be on my social media bio too.

I am also a huge fan of saving money, which is why I have an eye on the Too Good To Go app.

Too Good To Go is a bridge between restaurants or eateries, and customers.

It gives a platform to eateries to sell surplus food, to customers, thus reducing waste and providing people with food deals at a fraction of the cost.

I nearly fell off my chair when I saw Millie’s Cookies have a Magic Bag available.

And so I leapt into my trainers and sped-walked to Millie’s Cookies in Derbion.

I paid £3.99 for a box and after collection, which was quick and simple, I couldn’t wait to dive in.

There were 13 cookies plus a big wedge of cookie pie.

The cookies were fresh, the dough had a nice bite, and my favourite was the milk chocolate chip cookie.

I enjoyed the cookie pie, which was a miniature version of the celebration cookie, which costs upwards of £21.99.

There is no way I could finish the entire box, so I enjoyed three cookies and slung the rest in the freezer.

It’s a great way to save money and a sweet treat for a rainy day.

So when friends pop round for an impromptu visit, it saves you scrambling around hunting for something to serve alongside coffee.

I think Too Good To Go provide a great service.

If I had bought the cookies separately, I would have had to pay over £10.

My £3.99 purchase sure made the deal sweeter.
