Derby is a happening city, you just need to know where to look (and we do).

We have our finger on the pulse of the city's beating heart, which is why when it came to curating a round up, we loved putting together a fun list of ace activities in and around Derby.

Half-term means you may be thinking of ways to keep little ones entertained.

Perhaps you’ve exhausted all the parks and walks, so how about a free storytelling session in a bustling shopping centre in Derby?

If you’re into team activities and love good food, why not test those little grey cells at one of the city’s amazing quiz nights?

The too-cool-for-school host Freddie dresses up as cult 60s icon Austin Powers and oversees an evening of fun and games.

With summer coming up, you may want to update your wardrobe. An amazing event where you can shop till you drop, and take advantage of 20% discounts means you could be grabbing a few bargains on high-end names including Barbour.

You’re going to want to mark these dates in our diary for events that will delight and thrill, come morning, noon or night!
