Derbyshire Sausage & Cider Festival 2024 line-up includes fireworks, glamping and wrestling

A family event serving sausage and cider alongside music performances galore is gearing up for its annual summer outing in Derbyshire. 

Derby's annual Sausage & Cider Festival provides an unusual mix of entertainment.

From tribute acts to glamping with prosecco, there is something for everyone at this year's event. Keep reading to find out more about what to expect.

What's on at Sausage & Cider Festival 2024?

Organisers have promised ‘an absolutely amazing weekend of music and alternative entertainment for all the family.’

As there is a packed roster of events, you may want to make a weekend of it and spend the weekend on the camp site.

You could glamp in style too, where you would have access to luxury showers and a hot tub and Prosecco experience.

The Super Luxury Glamping Experience includes towels, full bedding and pillows, clothes rack, slippers, toiletries gift set, wine, a confectionery hamper and electricity points inside the tent.

The Sausage & Cider Festival has been delighting locals since 2014, making this year a special 10th anniversary bash.

Think of the June event as a music gig with loads of extra add-ons you wouldn’t normally see anywhere else. 

There will be live entertainment tribute acts performing hits by Prodigy, Foo Fighters, Robbie Williams, Amy Winehouse, Katy Perry, Dua Lupa, Little Mix, The Carpenters, Bruno Mars, Queen, Elton John and more.

In addition to the incredible line-up of live bands, there will also be good food in the form of succulent sausages, a monster truck show, wrestling matches, fireworks display and a gravity defying aerial show from Vander’s Wheel Of Death.

When is it?

The event will take place from Thursday, June 27, till Sunday, June 30. 

There are two sessions of 12pm - 5pm and 6pm - 11pm.
