It will be providing a host of treats for locals over the busy bank holiday weekend on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

Taking up residence on the bustling Market Place in the heart of the town, the market will bring together a huge variety of stalls delighting shoppers.

They include vegan street food vendors, artisan bakers, craft brewers, sustainable chandlers, ethical jewellers, local artists, zero-waste champions, environmental charities and loads more.

The organisers said: ‘We work hard to connect the growing sustainable, ethical and vegan-curious population with independent, pioneering and eco-focused companies.’

Last year’s event was packed with good food and drink.

In addition to household names such as Doughnotts and Riverford, other food suppliers in attendance were Daniele Campbell selling gluten-free bakes, Plantuguese offering Portuguese food, and Vausages selling plant-based sausages.

The website says the event is fully accessible and well behaved dogs are welcome.
