Established in 2015, the festival brings Derby’s bibliophiles together, whose shared love of books has seen the festival host hundreds of book-related events over the past nine years.

Organisers say one of the festival’s aims is to inspire new readers to appreciate the pleasure and power of reading.

Guests who appeared at Derby Book Festival’s past events include TV presenter Steve Richards, investigative journalist Caroline Wheeler, bestselling author Kate Mosse, cookbook author Anisa Karolia and political talking head Alastair Campbell.

Here are the full-season dates for Derby Book Festival 2024

Spring Collection - February 29 - March 4, 2024

Summer Collection - May 30 - June 4, 2024

Autumn Edition - November 15 - 18, 2024
