Belper’s Biggest Bonfire and Fireworks Night is one of the longest-running bonfire events in Derbyshire which has been delighting Derby people for more than 25 years.

Held on the expansive community sports club grounds, the organisers have an epic evening planned for visitors who love entertainment, good food, and more.

According to weather reports, you can expect a temperature of 9C with a 61 percent chance of rain on Bonfire Night this year.

Single-digit temperatures can get quite chilly, so be sure to wrap up warm (time to get those snuggly scarves and long boots out!).

When is Belper’s Biggest Bonfire and Fireworks Night 2023?

This Bonfire Night event will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023.

When do gates open?

Gates open at 6pm.

When will the firework displays begin?

The first firework display will be at 7pm.

Timings for the quieter, child-friendly firework display have yet to be confirmed.

How much are tickets for Belper’s Biggest Bonfire and where can I buy them?

There is an offer on early bird tickets if bought before November 1.

Early bird tickets prices are as follows:

  • Adults £6.00
  • Children (under 16) £3.50 (under 5s go free)
  • Family (2 adult + 3 under 16) £18.00

Standard tickets will become available from midnight on November 1, prices are as follows:

  • Adults £8.00
  • Children (Under 16) £4.50 (under 5s go free)
  • Family (2 adult + 3 under 16) £24.00

People can expect a jam-packed evening filled with children’s rides, entertainment, and of course a blazing bonfire and fabulous fireworks.

What food will be available at Belper’s Biggest Bonfire 2023?

It is set to be a great evening out for those who love good food.

Tuck into burgers and hotdogs filled with award-winning meat from Owen Taylor’s butchers or baked spuds by One Potato Two Potato.

Sweet-toothed fans can enjoy Project D doughnuts, another acclaimed food supplier.

There will be licensed bars including a gin bar and more, serving mulled wine and hot drinks to really warm you up on a cold November night.

Will there be car parking available?

There is no car parking on site.

There is parking available for Blue Badge holders, who can get this organised by prior arrangement.

What else do you need to know?

Professional security will be in attendance during the event, so be prepared for bag searches.
