Two Derby cinemas have released their Christmas film schedule and they are filled with an awesome variety of Hollywood blockbusters.

Those who love a good old musical can join in the toe-tapping fun with the Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye starrer White Christmas. The 1954 release has undergone a brand new 4k restoration at Showcase Cinema de Lux Derby.

If you love something a little more contemporary, who can resist yummy daddy Jude Law in transatlantic romcom The Holiday?

As for the smash hit Die Hard, whose ‘Christmas credentials’ are hotly debated every year, Bruce Willis makes the world a better place, which is just as good a reason to watch this movie in the cinema.
