Recently promoted Ipswich Town have been linked with the 30 year-old who played for them on loan from Leicester back in 2017.

He made 36 appearances and scored 11 goals for the Tractor Boys and could be a big help in their aim to survive in the Premier League this upcoming season.

A move to the Championship is also on the cards as Sheffield United have been linked with the attacker.

Furthermore, he has also received interested from Turkish side Besiktas which would provide European football for Lawrence.

If a move to the Championship is likely, there is every chance that he could be interested in a return to Pride Park where he made over 180 appearances.

Lawrence scored 37 goals and recorded 25 assists for the Rams and became Derby’s captain during Wayne Rooney’s time as manager when the Rams entered administration.

His blend of quality on the ball and goalscoring ability made Lawrence somewhat of a talisman for Derby and a player that will be remembered as a fan favourite.

He left Pride Park for Rangers but has struggled with injuries over the past two seasons which have hampered his chances to make a big impact at the Ibrox.

A move back to England might be exactly what the former Derby captain needs.
