Dobbin made 54 appearances for the Rams and scored five goals with six assists.

This season, he has broken into Everton’s first team by making 12 Premier League appearances including one goal.

Reported by the Athletic, Unai Emery is keen on signing Dobbin for Villa, a move which could help the 21 year-old to new heights and Champions League football after Villa finished fourth this past season.

Paul Warne was a big fan of the attacker when he was at Pride Park due to his quickness and impressive intelligence for a youngster.

Dobbin is under contract at Everton until 2025 so Aston Villa will have to dip into their pockets if they are to add him.

The current value for the striker is £2.5 million but his fee could be higher due to the sky high potential that Dobbin has.

He had a lanmark moment for Sean Dyche’s team this season as he scored his first professional goal for Everton in a 2-0 win against Chelsea. A move to Villa Park could help him take that next step as he looks to develop in his career.
