and live on Freeview channel 276
With the January transfer window having been and gone, Derby County added two new faces in Corey Blackett-Taylor and Ebou Adams.
Prior to this, the Rams had signed 11 new players since last season in the hopes of making a promotion push towards the end of the season.

Hide AdThe players signed this season have all been 'Paul Warne's' players unlike last year when the Rams signed new faces with Liam Rosenior in temporary charge of the club.
So out of the 13 players, here they all are rated out of ten.
Kane Wilson - 7/10

Derby County signed Kane Wilson from Bristol City during a deal that sent Jason Knight the other way. Wilson has been good so far and plays with a high energy that makes him popular with fans.
Overall, a good addition for the Rams with a player that can both defend and attack.

Hide AdSonny Bradley - 4/10
![Sonny Bradley joined from Luton Town in the summer](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/11/04/13/48/GettyImages-1579253147.jpg.jpg?trim=0,587,0,587&width=640&quality=65)
![Sonny Bradley joined from Luton Town in the summer](/img/placeholder.png)
Sonny Bradley has struggled to make an impact since joining from Luton in the summer. He has not put in many good performances which has resulted in a consistent spot on the bench.
Expectations were high for Bradley when he joined, so far he has not lived up to these.
Martyn Waghorn - 5/10
![Martyn Waghorn was a free agent in the summer](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/09/07/10/Martyn%20Waghorn.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Martyn Waghorn was a free agent in the summer](/img/placeholder.png)
Waghorn's route to a Derby return was unorthodox. He played in Craig Forsyth's testimonial match and then began training with the team after he had impressed Paul Warne.
Waghorn had a very good start to the season, scoring six goals before suffering an injury in October. He hasn't played since.

![Conor Washington previously played for Paul Warne at Rotherham](/img/placeholder.png)
Conor Washington was also not the solution to Derby's search for a striker either. He struggled to get consistent game time after signing in the summer and then suffered an injury.
He has scored three goals in 14 games, when he returns, Washington will be hoping for a better showing.
Tyreece John-Jules - 5/10
![Tyreece John-Jules is on loan from Arsenal](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/11/30/12/26/john-jules-%20Port%20Vale%20vs%20Derby%20County%20-%2028th%20Nov%202023.jpg?trim=0,0,0,0&width=640&quality=65)
![Tyreece John-Jules is on loan from Arsenal](/img/placeholder.png)
Tyreece John-Jules joined on a loan deal which brought some well-needed youth into the side. However, he hasn't been able to stay fit for long.
John-Jules has scored just one goal, not the return that the 22 year-old striker was hoping for.

Hide AdCallum Elder - 6/10

![Callum Elder has began to show his skills](/img/placeholder.png)
Callum Elder, much like Sonny Bradley, came to Pride Park with high expectations and struggled to live up to them.
However, in recent weeks, Elder has found a place for himself in the starting XI and looks a lot more comfortable in black and white. So he could yet be considered a good signing.
Tyrese Fornah - 5/10
![Tyrese Fornah joined from Nottingham Forest in the summer](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/10/03/10/INSERT%20-%20Fornah%201.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Tyrese Fornah joined from Nottingham Forest in the summer](/img/placeholder.png)
Tyrese Fornah is the newest player to make the move between the Derby and Forest rivalry. The midfielder has also not been able to hit the ground running much like a number of Derby's summer signings.
Fornah has been in and out of the starting lineup and is yet to make a big impact.

Hide AdJoe Ward - 3/10
![Joe Ward joined from League One rivals Peterborough in the summer](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/12/14/10/10/joe+ward.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Joe Ward joined from League One rivals Peterborough in the summer](/img/placeholder.png)
Joe Ward came with heavy expectations and after a good pre-season was set up to be a great addition. However, the winger has not looked comfortable.
Ask any Derby fan what he has done this year and the answer would be, give away two penalties, not much more.
Ryan Nyambe - 9/10
![Ryan Nyambe joined in September as a free agent](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/01/04/9/34/Ryan%20Nyambe.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Ryan Nyambe joined in September as a free agent](/img/placeholder.png)
It is a surprise that Nyambe was available as a free agent in September because he has been excellent for Paul Warne's side.
Despite a few injury concerns, Nyambe has been one of Derby's best defenders, looking like a solid Championship-level star. A real find for the Rams.

Hide AdCorey Blackett-Taylor - 7/10
![Corey Blackett-Taylor joined less than two weeks ago](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/01/23/9/17/Corey%20Blackett-Taylor.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Corey Blackett-Taylor joined less than two weeks ago](/img/placeholder.png)
It is difficult to judge Corey Blackett-Taylor as he joined less than two weeks ago, however, he is a real talent and a pacey, attacking player that was what this Derby side needed.
Expect him to impress over the course of the season and beyond.
Josh Vickers - 6/10
![Josh Vickers previously played for Paul Warne at Rotherham United](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/09/28/09/Josh%20Vickers.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Josh Vickers previously played for Paul Warne at Rotherham United](/img/placeholder.png)
Josh Vickers joined from Rotherham where he had previously played under Paul Warne.
He spent much of the first half of the season on the bench, but has become Paul Warne's first choice in recent weeks over Joe Wildsmith.
Solid but not brilliant as an addition.

Hide AdEbou Adams - 7/10
![Ebou Adams joined in the last week of January](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2024/02/01/9/14/Ebou%20Adans.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Ebou Adams joined in the last week of January](/img/placeholder.png)
Much like Blackett-Taylor, it is hard to judge Ebou Adams who joined from Cardiff City just last week.
He is a high energy midfielder who likes to get stuck in, something that the Rams have needed all year long. He put in a great performance in his debut and looks to be a great signing.
Curtis Nelson - 10/10
![Curtis Nelson has been excellent this season](https://www.derbyworld.co.uk/jpim-static/image/2023/11/09/10/20/nelson.jpg?crop=3:2,smart&trim=&width=640&quality=65)
![Curtis Nelson has been excellent this season](/img/placeholder.png)
Curtis Nelson has arguably been Derby's best signing of the season. He has played in every minute of the League One season and has been one of the best defenders in the league.
Considering that Derby did not pay a transfer fee to add Nelson makes it an even more impressive deal. Nelson has been a fantastic aquisition and the only 10/10 on this list.
