Download Festival is a highlight on any music fans gig list.
Its location at Donington Park just 30 minutes’ away from Derby city centre is the icing on the cake.
This year the event is set to take place from June 14th-16th.
Those lucky enough to get tickets can enjoy music from headliners Queens of the Stone Age, Fall Out Boy and Avenged Sevenfold.
Last year was a very special year as the festival celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Legends who have graced the stage over this period are rock royalty Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, Metallica, The Prodigy and Black Sabbath.
With just a few months to go to this year’s event that is expected to be another ace event, we thought it would be fun to cast our minds back and take a trip down memory lane.
