Temperatures today are expected to reach 28C here in Derby - that’s hotter than Mallorca!
We’re set for a couple more days of blistering heat, before it drops off over the weekend (typical!)

Warm weather and light breezes are giving Derby a tropical edge today.
Temperatures are expected to reach 28C by 3pm and remain high throughout the evening.
Bring out the fans because it’s going to be warm tonight too with highs of 23C.
Tomorrow (Wednesday):
It’s going to be hot, hot, hot here in Derby on Wednesday.
With little cloud to shelter us from the blazing sunshine, it’s definitely time to bring out the paddling pool.

Hide AdTemperatures will reach highs of 27C at around 4pm and will remain hot into the evening.
According to the Met Office, it will still be 24C at 9pm. Overnight temperatures will remain in the low 20s.
Thursday:
It will cool down a bit on Thursday with highs of 22C and some clouds.
Temperatures will reach their peak at 4pm on Thursday.
Overnight expect temperatures in their mid-teens.

Friday:
It will remain warm (but manageable) here in Derby on Thursday with highs of 19C.
Expect sunny intervals and cloud in the afternoon.
Overnight highs of 15C.

The outlook for the weekend is mostly dry and lightly warm with highs of 20C on Saturday and Sunday.
The Met Office says it is likely to stay dry so there’s still plenty of time to bring out the BBQ.
