Derby's Showcase Cinema offering £1 popcorn for National Popcorn Day 2024

To celebrate National Popcorn Day this Friday (January 19), a Derby Cinema is offering a massive discount on the traditional movie treat.

Showcase Cinema de Lux Derby in Derbion is giving cinema-goers the chance to grab a portion of either sweet or salty popcorn for just £1!  

What you need to do to claim the National Popcorn Day offer

Customers will simply need to have a ticket for a film showing at Showcase Cinema de Lux Derby on Friday January 19.

They will then be able to buy a small popcorn for £1 at the food and drink stand.

On the day, with popcorn in hand, there are plenty of exciting films to enjoy, with the new Mean Girls film having just hit the big screen.

Elsewhere, recently released Poor Things, The Boys In The Boat and The Beekeeper mean there’s something for everyone, with Wonka starring Timothée Chalamet still delighting audiences across the land.
