Good food plus tasty tipples in beautiful surroundings will make the Derbyshire event a must-visit for foodies in the region

A street food event hosted on the grounds of a Georgian style country house is set to delight foodies over the coming weeks.

Melbourne Hall Courtyard, just 25 minutes’ away from Derby city centre, is hosting a weekly series of Street Food In The Courtyard events.

Running every Wednesday from 4pm till 8pm, the event will have independent traders showcasing their stunning creations.

The next event is tomorrow (Wednesday May 22) where Koolkata Street Food make their debut.

Expect to tuck into Indian bowls and rolls bursting with flavour.

Toastie The Difference will be cooking up a treat with their tasty toasties and halloumi fries.

Chocoholics will no doubt make a bee-line for More Cocoa whose cocoa themed desserts will have sweet toothed fans swooning.

You can sip a pint (or two) from The Brewhouse, and if you get peckish, nibble their Pinza’s too.

They also have collaboration-menu with Momma Bains.

This is mum to Sat Bains who is a Derby lad, and owner of two Michelin starred restaurant, Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms in Nottingham.
