From a quaint 19th century gastropub to an eatery offering pretty riverside views, there are options galore to enjoy good food but without breaking the bank. 

Some of the offers such as set menus are offered all year round, so you can make savings beyond January too.

1. Binary Bar & Restaurant

This stylish venue, decked out with fabulous foliage and far-reaching views over Mickleover is offering a set lunch of two courses for £14.99 or three courses for £19.99. 

The deal is available Wednesday to Friday between 12pm and 3pm.

2. Dining Room 121

Fine dining doesn't need to cost the earth at this rustic eatery in the heart of Derby city centre.

Their early bird offer means diners can enjoy 20% off their total bill from Tuesday to Saturday up to 6pm, with a maximum number of four guests per booking.

3. Amad Restaurant

One of Derby’s newest curry houses is also a beautiful restaurant to hunker down and enjoy discounted main courses. Amad is offering a 50% discount on all main dishes, every day, from 2pm until 6.30pm.

4. The Dragon Willington

This 19th century gastropub overlooking the Trent and Mersey canal is an idyllic spot for dining in style - without the fuss. 

Their set lunch offer of two courses for £14.99, or three courses for £19.99, runs from Monday to Friday 12pm till 3pm.

Get the feeling of dining out, but without the fear of freezing at The Boot's conservatory.

7. Lotus Indian Kitchen

This riverside restaurant offers pretty views across the marina, whilst the external patio is the perfect place to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.

8. Shalimar Gold

Rated fifth on TripAdvisor for top restaurants in Derby, this contemporary restaurant serves dishes with flair.

There are several offers including 25% off food all night on Friday and an early bird 2-4-1 offer where you get a main dish free (equivalent or less value is free of charge) for bookings between 6pm and vacated by 7.30pm.

9. Harpur’s of Melbourne

A roaring fire at this cosy gastropub with high beams and warm customer service makes it a great place to pop in for a pint - the meal deal is just a bonus. 

Enjoy any two pizzas for 14.99, or if you’re in the mood for something sweet, add a dessert for £3. Offer is available from Monday to Thursday, 12pm until 3pm, and 5pm until 9pm. Those dining on Friday or Saturday can get the discount between 12pm and 5pm.
