The Railway: The bumper Belper pub that's been named the best in Derbyshire

A historic pub in Belper, Derby has been named the best in the county at a recent awards.

The Railway has been crowned among the best in the country in the National Pub & Bar Awards 2024.

Each year the award crowns the best pub or bar from nearly 100 counties across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

The Railway, found on King Street in Belper is a favourite among locals. It is known for its live music and a great selection of beers.

It plays host to many events including open mic nights and quizzes. It is truly a pub with its heart firmly rooted in the community.
