The people of Derby are in for a treat, as a new eatery serving ‘mouthwatering’ Indian grills, curries and pints is set to open in the coming weeks.
Hen & Chickens is an upmarket bar and restaurant located at Crownhouse Allenton, 10 minutes away from Derby city centre.

Hide AdIt aims to stand out from the crowd with its traditional offerings with a high-end twist - expert mixologists will be on hand to make creative cocktails that will be sure to tantalise taste buds.
People can expect a range of traditional ‘desi’ curries, grilled meats, cool pints and more.

There have been 21 new jobs created, which Hen & Chickens say, aims to foster a supportive community spirit.
The opening date is yet to be announced, however, it is expected to be by the end of February 2024.

Hide AdA spokesperson said: “We aim to bring an eatery that is a little bit different from anything there is currently in Derby.
The owner is Gurvinder Johal, 30, from Birmingham who has ambitious expansion plans across the region, choosing Derby as his flagship restaurant.

He said: “I am keen to bring a unique dining style to the city that is currently nowhere to be seen at the moment.”
The spokesperson added: “We have a vision and goal that will become market trendsetters, and we are really looking forward to welcoming the people of Derby soon.”
