We might be biased but we believe Derbyshire has one of the most underrated food and drink scenes in the country.
And our suspicions have been proved right this week as three Derbyshire pubs have been named among the top 100 in the UK.

The Pack Horse, Hayfield
This contemporary pub came in at number 18 on the list.
It is located in the Peak District and serves dishes using locally sourced ingredients.
Fish is from boats off the north-west coast, and caught using sustainable methods where possible, while lamb and mutton is chosen from a local abattoir just four miles away.

Coming in at number 47 on the list, this 19th-century gastropub serves modern and classic British dishes, of fine-dining quality in relaxed yet comfortable surroundings.

This recently renovated 12th-century inn is number 82 on the list and is thought to be one of Britain’s oldest pubs.
