Derbion is providing a warm welcome for students to the city by hosting a weekend student event offering bargains and discounts galore.
Stall holders have now set up camp on the ground floor inside Derbion shopping centre, in the space between Boots and Starbucks.
It is one of the shopping centre’s biggest student events of the year.
The Derbion student event is from 11am and 5pm on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30.
People can see in the weekend, in style without blowing budgets, by enjoying discounts from various retailers including Wagamama, LIDS, The Perfume Shop and more.

There were plenty of passers by eager to explore the stalls and their offers.
Shan, who is studying computer science at University of Derby said the fair looked ‘very good’ and looked forward to having a ‘proper browse’.
Lucy, who is a student of English literature at the same university, said she didn’t know the event was on this weekend, but now that she was already in Derbion, she would ‘definitely see what offers were there for her’.
