With Derby County looking to improve their squad before starting the new Championship season, Paul Warne has said he will look at the free agent market to help do so.
There are a number of out-of-contract Championship players that are looking more and more likely to be available on a free this summer.
Derby need to improve in a number of areas including centre midfield, striker and left back and so Paul Warne could already be looking at a number of these names.
Here are 15 out-of-contract Championship players that would be a good fit at Pride Park if Paul Warne decided to make the move to sign them...
1. Centre back: Paddy McNair

2. Centre midfielder: Alex Mowatt
With Max Bird, Korey Smith, Ebou Adams and Conor Hourihane all out of contract, Derby will need to add some talent in centre midfield.
3. Left back: Dimitrios Giannoulis
No conversations have taken place regarding the left back's contract at Norwich. With Callum Elder being the only natural left back, the Greek international would be a good signing for Derby.
4. Striker: Aaron Connolly
Connolly would finally provide the Rams with a talented striker at a good age (24). He is yet to re-sign with Hull City and would be a steal for Derby if they signed him on a free. Photo: Ryan Hiscott
